Setelah googling kesana kemari untuk mencari secret code pada beberapa jenis ponsel akhirnya didapatkan beberapa kode rahasia. Dan karena ada beberapa brand yang hanya mempunyai sedikit kode rahasia, maka disini akan coba digabungkan dengan beberapa brand lainnya.

Before you spend a dime on security, there are many precautions you can take that will protect you against the most common threats.

1. Check Windows Update and Office Update regularly (_http://office.microsoft.com/productupdates); have your Office CD ready. Windows Me, 2000, and XP users can configure automatic updates. Click on the Automatic Updates tab in the System control panel and choose the appropriate options.

2. Install a personal firewall. Both SyGate (_www.sygate.com) and ZoneAlarm (_www.zonelabs.com) offer free versions.


3. Install a free spyware blocker. Our Editors' Choice ("Spyware," April 22) was SpyBot Search & Destroy (_http://security.kolla.de). SpyBot is also paranoid and ruthless in hunting out tracking cookies.

4. Block pop-up spam messages in Windows NT, 2000, or XP by disabling the Windows Messenger service (this is unrelated to the instant messaging program). Open Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Services and you'll see Messenger. Right-click and go to Properties. Set Start-up Type to Disabled and press the Stop button. Bye-bye, spam pop-ups! Any good firewall will also stop them.

5. Use strong passwords and change them periodically. Passwords should have at least seven characters; use letters and numbers and have at least one symbol. A decent example would be f8izKro@l. This will make it much harder for anyone to gain access to your accounts.

6. If you're using Outlook or Outlook Express, use the current version or one with the Outlook Security Update installed. The update and current versions patch numerous vulnerabilities.

7. Buy antivirus software and keep it up to date. If you're not willing to pay, try Grisoft AVG Free Edition (Grisoft Inc., w*w.grisoft.com). And doublecheck your AV with the free, online-only scanners available at w*w.pandasoftware.com/activescan and _http://housecall.trendmicro.com.

8. If you have a wireless network, turn on the security features: Use MAC filtering, turn off SSID broadcast, and even use WEP with the biggest key you can get. For more, check out our wireless section or see the expanded coverage in Your Unwired World in our next issue.

9. Join a respectable e-mail security list, such as the one found at our own Security Supersite at _http://security.ziffdavis.com, so that you learn about emerging threats quickly and can take proper precautions.

10. Be skeptical of things on the Internet. Don't assume that e-mail "From:" a particular person is actually from that person until you have further reason to believe it's that person. Don't assume that an attachment is what it says it is. Don't give out your password to anyone, even if that person claims to be from "support."

Jepara - boxBiru

Jepara

Kabupaten Jepara, adalah salah satu kabupaten di Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Ibukotanya adalah Jepara. Kabupaten ini berbatasan dengan Laut Jawa di barat dan utara, Kabupaten Pati dan Kabupaten Kudus di timur, serta Kabupaten Demak di selatan. Wilayah Kabupaten Jepara juga meliputi Kepulauan Karimunjawa, yang berada di Laut Jawa.

Geografi

Kabupaten Jepara terletak di pantura timur Jawa Tengah, dimana bagian barat dan utara dibatasi oleh laut. Bagian timur wilayah kabupaten ini merupakan daerah pegunungan.

Wilayah Kabupaten Jepara juga meliputi Kepulauan Karimunjawa, yakni gugusan pulau-pulau di Laut Jawa. Dua pulau terbesarnya adalah Pulau Karimunjawa dan Pulau Kemujan. Sebagian besar wilayah Karimunjawa dilindungi dalam Cagar Alam Laut Karimunjawa. Penyeberangan ke kepulauan ini dilayani oleh kapal ferry yang bertolak dari Pelabuhan Jepara. Karimunjawa juga terdapat lapangan terbang perintis yang didarati pesawat berjenis kecil dari Semarang.

Sejarah

Asal nama Jepara berasal dari perkataan Ujung Para, Ujung Mara dan Jumpara yang kemudian menjadi Jepara, yang berarti sebuah tempat pemukiman para pedagang yang berniaga ke berbagai daerah. Menurut buku “Sejarah Baru Dinasti Tang (618-906 M)” mencatat bahwa pada tahun 674 M seorang musafir Tionghoa bernama I-Tsing pernah mengunjungi negeri Holing atau Kaling atau Kalingga yang juga disebut Jawa atau Japa dan diyakini berlokasi di Keling, kawasan timur Jepara sekarang ini, serta dipimpin oleh seorang raja wanita bernama Ratu Shima yang dikenal sangat tegas.

Menurut seorang penulis Portugis bernama Tome Pires dalam bukunya “Suma Oriental”, Jepara baru dikenal pada abad ke-XV (1470 M) sebagai bandar perdagangan yang kecil yang baru dihuni oleh 90-100 orang dan dipimpin oleh Aryo Timur dan berada dibawah pemerintahan Demak. Kemudian Aryo Timur digantikan oleh putranya yang bernama Pati Unus (1507-1521). Pati Unus mencoba untuk membangun Jepara menjadi kota niaga.

Pati Unus dikenal sangat gigih melawan penjajahan Portugis di Malaka yang menjadi mata rantai perdagangan nusantara. Setelah Pati Unus wafat digantikan oleh ipar Faletehan /Fatahillah yang berkuasa (1521-1536). Kemudian pada tahun 1536 oleh penguasa Demak yaitu Sultan Trenggono, Jepara diserahkan kepada anak dan menantunya yaitu Ratu Retno Kencono dan Pangeran Hadiri suami. Namun setelah tewasnya Sultan Trenggono dalam Ekspedisi Militer di Panarukan Jawa Timur pada tahun 1546, timbulnya geger perebutan tahta kerajaan Demak yang berakhir dengan tewasnya Pangeran Hadiri oleh Aryo Penangsang pada tahun 1549.

Kematian orang-orang yang dikasihi membuat Ratu Retno Kencono sangat berduka dan meninggalkan kehidupan istana untuk bertapa di bukit Danaraja. Setelah terbunuhnya Aryo Penangsang oleh Sutowijoyo, Ratu Retno Kencono bersedia turun dari pertapaan dan dilantik menjadi penguasa Jepara dengan gelar NIMAS RATU KALINYAMAT.

Pada masa pemerintahan Ratu Kalinyamat (1549-1579), Jepara berkembang pesat menjadi Bandar Niaga utama di Pulau Jawa, yang melayani eksport import. Disamping itu juga menjadi Pangkalan Angkatan Laut yang telah dirintis sejak masa Kerajaan Demak.

Sebagai seorang penguasa Jepara, yang gemah ripah loh jinawi karena keberadaan Jepara kala itu sebagai Bandar Niaga yang ramai, Ratu Kalinyamat dikenal mempunyai jiwa patriotisme anti penjajahan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan pengiriman armada perangnya ke Malaka guna menggempur Portugis pada tahun 1551 dan tahun 1574. Adalah tidak berlebihan jika orang Portugis saat itu menyebut sang Ratu sebagai “RAINHA DE JEPARA”SENORA DE RICA”, yang artinya Raja Jepara seorang wanita yang sangat berkuasa dan kaya raya.

Serangan sang Ratu yang gagah berani ini melibatkan hamper 40 buah kapal yang berisikan lebih kurang 5.000 orang prajurit. Namun serangan ini gagal, ketika prajurit Kalinyamat ini melakukan serangan darat dalam upaya mengepung benteng pertahanan Portugis di Malaka, tentara Portugis dengan persenjataan lengkap berhasil mematahkan kepungan tentara Kalinyamat.

Namun semangat Patriotisme sang Ratu tidak pernah luntur dan gentar menghadapi penjajah bangsa Portugis, yang di abad 16 itu sedang dalam puncak kejayaan dan diakui sebagai bangsa pemberani di Dunia.

Dua puluh empat tahun kemudian atau tepatnya Oktober 1574, sang Ratu Kalinyamat mengirimkan armada militernya yang lebih besar di Malaka. Ekspedisi militer kedua ini melibatkan 300 buah kapal diantaranya 80 buah kapal jung besar berawak 15.000 orang prajurit pilihan. Pengiriman armada militer kedua ini di pimpin oleh panglima terpenting dalam kerajaan yang disebut orang Portugis sebagai “QUILIMO”.

Walaupun akhirnya perang kedua ini yang berlangsung berbulan-bulan tentara Kalinyamat juga tidak berhasil mengusir Portugis dari Malaka, namun telah membuat Portugis takut dan jera berhadapan dengan Raja Jepara ini, terbukti dengan bebasnya Pulau Jawa dari Penjajahan Portugis di abad 16 itu.

Sebagai peninggalan sejarah dari perang besar antara Jepara dan Portugis, sampai sekarang masih terdapat di Malaka komplek kuburan yang di sebut sebagai Makam Tentara Jawa. Selain itu tokoh Ratu Kalinyamat ini juga sangat berjasa dalam membudayakan SENI UKIR yang sekarang ini jadi andalan utama ekonomi Jepara yaitu perpaduan seni ukir Majapahit dengan seni ukir Patih Badarduwung yang berasal dari Negeri Cina.

Menurut catatan sejarah Ratu Kalinyamat wafat pada tahun 1579 dan dimakamkan di desa Mantingan Jepara, di sebelah makam suaminya Pangeran Hadiri. Mengacu pada semua aspek positif yang telah dibuktikan oleh Ratu Kalinyamat sehingga Jepara menjadi negeri yang makmur, kuat dan mashur maka penetapan Hari Jadi Jepara yang mengambil waktu beliau dinobatkan sebagai penguasa Jepara atau yang bertepatan dengan tanggal 10 April 1549 ini telah ditandai dengan Candra Sengkala TRUS KARYA TATANING BUMI atau terus bekerja keras membangun daerah.

• Adon-adon Coro = minuman jahe santan dengan irisan kelapa bakar, yang disajikan hangat.
• Es Gempol = minuman santan dan gempol (bola dari tepung beras), biasa disajikan manis, asin, hangat ataupun dingin.
• Es Pleret = minuman santan dan pleret (tepung beras yang dimakan sedikit kenyal) hampir mirip dengan gempol.
• Dawet Jepara (Es Cendhol / Cendol) = terbuat dari bahan-bahan tepung sagu, gula merah asli, santan kelapa.
• Rondo Royal = tape goreng yang dibungkus tepung.
• Klenyem = ketela parut goreng isi gula merah.
• Kenyol = ketela parut dibungkus daun pisang dan tengahnya diisi gula merah, cara masak dikukus.
• Nogosari = tepung dibungkus daun pisang dan tengahnya diisi buah pisang masak, cara masak dikukus.

• Poci = tepung dari ketan yang dibungkus daun pisang dan dibentuk kerucut diisi campuran kelapa parut dan gula merah.
• Kuluban = urap-urap dengan nangka muda, kacang panjang dan daun mudanya, tauge mentah, dan buah petai, disajikan mentahan.
• Pecel Ikan Laut Panggang = ikan laut bakar dengan bumbu sambal santan kelapa.
• Horok-horok = makanan yang sangat langka dan hanya ditemukan di jepara ini dibuat dengan bahan baku sagu. dengan cara pembuatan yang cukup aneh yaitu menggunakan sisir rambut. bentuknya seperti busa sterofom yang kenyal dengan rasa sedikit asin. biasanya dimakan sebagai campuran bakso,gado-gado, ataupun lainnya.
• Bontosan = adonan krupuk ikan tenggiri dalam bentuk gelondongan dan sudah dikukus.

Potensi

Jepara dikenal sebagai kota ukir, karena terdapat sentra kerajinan ukiran kayu ketenarannya hingga ke luar negeri. Kerajinan mebel dan ukir ini tersebar merata hampir di seluruh kecamatan dengan keahlian masing-masing. Namun sentra perdagangannya terlekat di wilayah Ngabul, Senenan, Tahunan, Pekeng, Kalongan dan Pemuda. Selain itu, Jepara merupakan kota kelahiran pahlawan wanita Indonesia R.A. Kartini.

Industri Mebel dan Kerajinan merupakan industri andalan kabupaten Jepara. Industri tersebut telah menjadi tulang punggung perekonomian Jepara. pariwisata Jepara memiliki banyak objek menarik yang dapat dikembangkan lebih baik lagi, diantaranya Pantai Kartini, Bandengan dan karimun jawa. karena keterbatasan APBD yang ada, maka pengembangan pun belum optimal. selain itu, yang saat ini menarik adalah wisata budaya dan wisata industri. industri mebel dan ukir jepara yang berbasis HOME INDUSTRI dan merupakan kerajinan tangan dapat pula dikembangkan menjadi wisata industri sekaligus wisata belanja produk kerajinan jepara.
